अनुच्छेद 177 – सदनों के संबंध में मंत्रियों और महाधिवक्ता के अधिकार
किसी राज्य के प्रत्येक मंत्री और महाधिवक्ता को राज्य की विधान सभा में या विधान परिषद वाले राज्य के मामले में, दोनों सदनों में बोलने और अन्यथा कार्यवाही में भाग लेने का अधिकार होगा, और विधानमंडल की किसी समिति, जिसका वह सदस्य नामित किया जा सकता है, में बोलने और अन्यथा कार्यवाही में भाग लेने के लिए, लेकिन इस अनुच्छेद के आधार पर, राज्य विधानमंडल के अधिकारियों को वोट देने का हकदार नहीं होगा

Article 177 – Rights of Ministers and Advocate General as respects the Houses Every Minister and the Advocate General for a State shall have the right to speak in, and otherwise to take part in the proceedings of, the legislative Assembly of the State or, in the case of a State having a Legislative Council, both Houses, and to speak in, and otherwise to take part in the proceedings of, any committee of the Legislature of which he may be named a member, but shall not, by virtue of this article, be entitled to vote Officers of the State Legislature
